40 weeks+

Hello everyone!

Well today is Monday, 2 days past my due date. No, there is no baby yet and no I am not having contractions. As I stated earlier this month, I have another Dr.'s appt. on Thursday this week and we will find out what's going on from there. I actually went to work today and worked for a half day, because my boss is wonderful and let me come to work! I guess not everyone calls their boss and says, " can I please come to work?" I can't stay home at this point. If I do I will go nuts and obsess over every little thing, so going to work is a good thing believe it or not! For all of you moms out there that went past their due dates, I must say it is the worst! Now I understand the comments, it's bad enough when you don't know when you are going into labor but the 50,000 + phone calls from everyone who loves you gets a little old. And I know that everyone calls because they love us, but if I haven't returned a phone call to someone PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't take offense! It's just that I get tired of answering my phone and saying the same thing, "no the baby hasn't arrived yet, No I'm not having contractions, and yes I'm at work because it helps me stay busy" For example, this morning, by 9 am I had already had 4 phone calls...and it wasn't even from work! So I apologize now and for the next few weeks if I don't call you back, it's only because I have probably already talked to 3-7 people and no offense but I'm tired. I promise to let everyone know when Dominic arrives, well I may not, but someone will and I know that everyone is excited and loves us, but really I just want to be able to relax a little. I truly hope I didn't offend anyone, because I don't mean to! Brandon and I look forward to meeting our little guy and are really excited. Brandon and I were sitting in a restaurant this evening and the couple next to us had a little boy, Brandon asked me, "how old do you think he is?" which I thought was kinda cute. I think he is just as excited as I am. This morning when he came home from work he told me that everyone at his job doesn't want him coming into work anymore because they know when he comes into work it means there is still no baby! I thought that was funny! Another thought for the night before I go, (I still have to read all my information on my propositions -Don't forget to go VOTE- one of my client's mom told me that she finally started telling people her due date was 7-10 days later than her actual due date so she could rest a little more before the baby was due. What a great idea....maybe next time I will have to do just that!!!!

Anyways, I hope you all are doing well! I love you all and miss everyone very much and I really hope everyone understands that I'm not mad, just tired and to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't be mad at me for not calling or answering my phone. I really do love you all, I'm just getting tired.

All my love,
Dawnnie

Dawn,

Castor Oil with orange juice works wonders.....it is a natural way to get your labor going. Hang in there.

I tried the castor oil in OJ and went into labor. But, I'm sure you've had your little boy by now. Can't wait to see pictures of him!!! Hope all is well.
