Another Dr.'s appointment done

Today was an interesting day to say the least. Still no baby...but a doctor's appointment at 8:15 am. We got there just a few minutes late, but that was ok. Although Brandon and I were amazed at the fact that at least two people almost caused car accidents with us on the way there and then some lady literally almost ran me over in the parking lot! The Doctor's appointment went well, except she was a little concerned regarding the amount of the amniotic fluid around the baby...it is getting a little low. So, Brandon and I went across the street to the hospital for a Non-stress test, which entailed getting hooked up to the fetal monitor for 20 minutes and had another sonogram. I actually was having contractions...not big ones but its a start! Hooray for contractions! My amniotic fluid was measuring at 10.9 so I am in the clear for now. if it was at a 6 or lower they would have enduced. I go back to the hospital Saturday morning for another check and then if I still haven't delivered I have another doctor's appointment Monday morning. So we might be traveling back and forth to the hospital a couple of times this weekend. Brandon was so cute, because he asked the doctor how much longer they would let the pregnancy last, especially since my amniotic fluid was getting low. It was nice to hear that he is thinking of me! I know that I won't go past the 14th, or so I hope!

Well, Brandon is at school tonight and I am typing away...starting to have some contractions...hooray for contractions! Hopefully they will last and not subside! I promise to keep posting within the next few days, and definitely will post after Saturday morning's appointment. Hope everyone is doing well and I took the last two days off of work to rest because I have been so tired! After my two hour nap today, I don't know if I will be at work on Friday...so I apologize now to my clients because I miss them already! But I know all of my clients are in good hands and I look forward to seeing them after the beginning of the year.

Have a good night everyone!
All my love~
Dawnnie

Enjoy these last couple of days before the baby arrives. Rest a lot, have a date night, do some nesting and relax. Motherhood changes everything, it's the best change you'll ever experience. Can't wait to see pictures. Oh, you so need to post a picture of you pregnant!!!
