He's arrived!!!!!!

What a glorious day! Dominic finally arrived! Yes, I know I am crazy, because he is sleeping and I should be too, but I figured I had a minute or two so I decided to blog. Here's the story:

Saturday

9:15 am: go to Loma Linda hospital for a non-stress test: everything was fine, went home
12:00 p.m: went and had a massage
1:30 p.m: ran errands around town with Brandon (bought Rock Band)
5:16 p.m: started having contractions, but decided to play rock band instead!
9:18 p.m: blogged about what not to say to a pregnant lady
9:30 p.m: started watching The Bucket List
9:45 p.m: my water broke
10:15 p.m: left for the hospital
on the way to the hospital my contractions my contractions were about 4 minutes apart
10:35 p.m: Got to the hospital
Got settled in for the long haul......
2:30 a.m: started to re-think wanting the epidural because I'm almost in tears
3:00 a.m: the anesthesiologist from heaven arrived.
3:30 a.m: sleep!!!
8:00 a.m: Pitocin drip started to help kick start the contractions again because the subsided
12:30 p.m: finally dilated to a 7 cm, 90 % effaced, +1 (this is all good)
around 3:30 p.m.: I got to start pushing....and pushing....and pushing
from here it gets a little blurry. I pushed for just over an hour and then they called in more doctors...forceps had to be used, but he was out at 5:04 p.m. It then took them over an hour to stitch me up but we have a beautiful baby boy!

Dominic James arrived at 5:04 p.m., 8 lbs 4 oz, and 20 inches long. As I type, Brandon is working on pictures. That's the short version of Dominic's arrival. I need to go...time to feed Dominic!
