Good morning! Hope all is well with everyone! I know, I know, pictures! I'm still working on it. I'm so sorry! I have my camera and my laptop now, its my cable that is missing. I have one more place to look, then I am fresh out of ideas!
Brandon and I are doing well, but keeping busy. He has been working a ton of overtime so he can take time off after Dominic is born to be with us. I don't like that he has been working so much, but I keep telling myself that all I have to do is get through a couple more weeks and then he will be around all the time. Between work, school, and getting stuff done in the nursery, we haven't had too much time together....just a couple more weeks.
I'm doing well, but starting to get a little tired. Kona seems to be feeling better, and is beginning to grow out of her puppy phase, but I haven't been sleeping too good. I know it is God's way of preparing me for Dominic, so I am trying to sleep when I can. I am still working full time and i still love it, but I have to admit I am having a harder time trying to keep up with all my little guys. I am feeling the restraints of my body now, not being able to bend over, getting up and down off the floor is getting harder, and not being able to lift items and kids is getting to me. But I try to keep a smile on my face, and hopefully I haven't been to cranky or lazy and continue to be therapeutic for my clients.
Bosco and Kona have been changing their moods too! They take turns sitting at my feet whether we are outside or in, Bosco continues to "protect me" from Kona if she begins to jump (which entails him jumping on her), and Kona is giving kisses (not nipping). Hopefully she will have less than a year left of puppy phase.
I'm not nesting as much as I was, but I have begun to wake in the middle of the night. I usually sit up and read for a bit. I am trying to get caught up on the 9 or so books I want to read next to my bed. I am currently finishing up The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and I like it. It is written from a different perspective than what I was expecting so it keeps it interesting. Brandon reminds me of how much a book nerd I am, and I am thankful for that. That is a gift my mom gave me that I hope never fades.
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the baby showers. I hope everyone had a fun time, I know I did! I worked really hard at letting other people do things for me, and hopefully I succeeded. I think that Dominic is going to be one of the best dressed kids around with all the adorable clothes that he got. I still have more laundry to do, but the good thing is that you can fit a lot of baby clothes in one load! Okay, I need to get ready for work. I have another Dr's appointment later this week and will try to post shortly after the appointment. Just to let everyone know, I did start having some irregular contractions yesterday while Brandon and I were in Costco, but nothing too major. We took it easy last night, and relaxed. They were definitely stronger than the Braxton-Hicks contractions I have been having, so we will see. I promise to look for my cable tonight for the camera when I get home! Have a wonderful and blessed day!
