32 weeks and counting.......

Hi all! I hope everyone is well! It has been a busy couple of weeks. I am at 32 weeks (for those who don't want to do the math, that's 8 months)! 8 more weeks to go! I can't believe it! The time feels like it has flown by, but everyone has warned me it's the last few weeks that take the longest, so we will see!

Since the last time I have written, we have some good things going on and some sad things. Bran and I have been working hard on the nursery, it's still not finished but we are getting there. Brandon just had his birthday this last weekend and we spent it out at San Diego Wild Animal Park so he could take pictures. It was a perfect day other than being a little warm, but it is nice to be so close that we can go down for a couple hours and come home. That evening Brandon and myself, along with 7 of our friends went to the Pirates Dinner Theater show in Buena Park. We actually had a blast! It was really fun, we got to be loud and cheer for our pirate, who won by the way, and eat pretty decent food. All in all I think Brandon had a pretty good birthday. The sad event that happened in the last few weeks was our kitty "Tiger," whom Brandon has had for half of his life, died on Friday morning, the day before his birthday. It was really sad, because Tiger was the kitty that used to give me kisses at night when Brandon worked the graveyard shift. Tiger was more like a dog than a cat, and she is going to be extremely missed ! Two days after Tiger died, the dogs came down with what seemed liked the 24 hour doggie flu. Since then, they have recovered and seem to be doing much better, but I have to admit they have not been too happy with me working late this last week. My schedule is starting to even itself out, so hopefully I can be home a little more.

Brandon has started taking classes at school again and is going back to working nights so I have been sitting at home catching up on some reading and playing on my laptop. I just got my laptop back from being serviced and I am so happy that I have easy access to playing on the computer!
The dogs and I will transition to a new schedule as Brandon works nights and moving is getting a little bit more difficult for me.

I think that is pretty much the news from us. I am going to go work on some dinner before Brandon gets home from class and spend a little time watching the end of The Next Food Network Star.

On a side note.....I want to personally thank my good friends Aimee and Penny for introducing me to the Twilight saga book series, because if it wasn't for you both, I wouldn't have read all 4 books in 3 weeks. I literally could NOT put these books down, despite the fact that it contained vampires and werewolves. Now that I am waking up in the middle of the night, I am sad I have read all of them and have to move on to other books. Thank you again! Penny, I can't wait to go see the movie Twilight with you!

All my love to each and everyone of you~
Dawnnie
