It has been a long week! There is good news, or as some people say, there is a silver lining in everything.
I will start with little Dominic. I have been blessed with sleeping through the night this whole week! I know some of you moms out there are saying, "I hate you!" I am very thankful that I am getting a good night of full sleep, and yes I know how lucky I am! This week Dominic has been opening his mouth when we give him kisses, it's pretty stinking cute! I officially believe that Dominic is beginning to get a tooth in and before you say, "Oh no, it's way too early," let me tell you that he is drooling ALL over the place and literally chewing on his hands, my hands, his pacifier, and pretty much anything he can get in his mouth. And I mean he is really chewing on things, not mouthing, but chewing! I feel so bad when his teeth are bugging him because with him being so young I can't really give him anything until he is 4 months old. So we tough it out and when it is really bad he gets a little Tylenol, approved by his doctor of course.
Now for the update on Brandon. He is feeling a little better from the car accident, still having some back problems, but he has a physical therapy evaluation on Tuesday, so let's hope everything goes well. We are looking for a new car....well I'm searching for a new car and informing Brandon what cars I want to test drive. Now for his eye... On February 5th Brandon went to an opthamologist (a specialist we have been trying to get into since November...dumb insurance issues) who referred us to a retinologist because the doctor believed that Brandon has an eye aneurysm. Well he does and the specialist wants to try doing a series of injections into his eye to stop the bleeding. He will have his first injection on February 27th, so pray for him, and pray that these injections stop the bleeding and some of his vision returns.
Unfortunately, his first appointment is the same day and time as my appointment with a specialist, so Brandon's dad has offered to help me out and go with Brandon for his appointment so I can keep mine. My sister is watching Dominic so I think we will be covered, just trying to keep this all straight is just crazy! We will get through it, that I am sure.
Well that is the updates from here! Hope all is well with each and everyone of you!
All my love,
Dawnnie
