Hi everyone! I am so sorry that I keep promising to write more often and I think it has been getting longer in between posts. So I apologize. Here's what new since I last blogged. I am officially 4 and half months along and things are going well. The last doctor appointment was so short I couldn't believe it! Baby is doing well, and things seem to be progressing the way they are supposed to be.
Brandon and I went to my sonogram appointment yesterday, and the sonography said everything looked good so far. Baby has two legs, two arms, a beating heart and all the other good things that go along with that. I am due November 1st, so please pray that I don't have the baby on Halloween. I really don't want a Halloween baby. Brandon and my birthday's are very close to holidays and it kind of sucks, so I don't really want our baby to have that. Everyone leave for the holidays, and it makes it hard for planning parties.
After my sonogram, the sonographer came back in and said that I was so normal the doctor didn't even want to see me! Brandon joked and said, "how does it feel to have a doctor actually call YOU NORMAL?" I didn't think it was funny, but that's Brandon's sense of humor!
Other than that things are going well. Brandon and I are busy working, which is good. My two wonderful sisters came over and helped me clean out part of my office last weekend. They were such a big help, since I'm not to be lifting and doing too much, (which by the way, I don't think I really know what that means), and my office has to be cleaned out since that is going to be the nursery. Brandon went on a 5 day fishing trip with his dad, brother, and a friend in May and came back with more fish than I know what to do with. His goal is to try out new recipes, but I'm still waiting on that.
We are finalizing our plans to visit Yosemite for a few days in July for our anniversary, so I am excited about that. Unfortunately I had to explain to Brandon that sleeping in a tent on the floor at 6 months pregnant does not sound like fun to me, so he had to find other arrangements. I had to explain to him that since I am having a hard time sleeping as it is, putting me on the hard ground for a few days wasn't going to be the best idea! I think he finally got it.
All is well around here, staying busy, working hard, spending time with the dogs. Kona is still smaller than Bosco, however, I think she may out-weigh him! She is my little piggy still. I haven't been able to train her too much, because she is just too wiggly still. I still love her to death, and it makes me so happy that she gives kisses on command. She is a good little girl. Bosco is doing well and trying to set a good example. He has gotten a little protective over me, when Kona is excited and goes to jump on me, he pushes her out of the way. It's pretty cool that he takes such good care of me. A couple of weeks ago, I was taking them upstairs so I could get ready for work and they both jumped on the bed and gave me the biggest puppy dogs eyes ever that said, "Please Mommy, don't go to work. Stay here with us and crawl into bed with us." It was pretty stinking cute. I took pictures and sent them to Brandon on his phone. I don't know why they did it, they aren't usually allowed on the bed, so it was pretty cute.
I think I am done rambling. Hope all it well with everyone. I send my love to you all!
