Ahhhh...weekends!

Hooray! It's December! I'm so happy for this, but stressed at the same time...I have yet to start my Christmas shopping! Oh no! Oh well! Not too many to buy for this year, Brandon and I have decided to not get anything too much for each other because 1. we don't need anything, and 2. we already got the best present: Dominic!

I love Saturdays and Sundays for a number of reasons, but my most favorite reason is: football! Yes, believe it or not I am a football freak! Thanks to Brandon I have taken up watching college football and love that even more than NFL. I guess being taken to my brother-in-law's college games as a kid really did have an impact on me! I grew up in a family that always watched football so it doesn't surprise me that I still love it to this day. You know I am a freak when I wake up and go downstairs with Dominic and Brandon is sleeping upstairs and I turn on the games! USC is my favorite college team....I know, I know, how can I be a USC fan right? Well I could have gone there for my degree and chose to go to Loma Linda instead and Brandon gives me a hard time for it all the time! Oh well!

Yesterday was my oldest nephew's birthday party...he turn 16! 16! can you believe it???? I am shocked! They grow up so fast! The grown ups had a blast reciting lines from the movie "Elf" and "Old school," we were laughing so hard the men were crying! It was great fun! And Dominic got to FINALLY meet his Uncle Brett and cousin David. Brandon missed out on yet another birthday party, but not because he was working, it's because he is sick. I feel so bad for him! Yesterday he was so pitiful, he said, "I don't want to be sick I want to play with Dominic!" Poor guy! He did manage to change a diaper or two for the day while I was attempting to get things done around the house, like laundry!

I hope everyone is doing well! I have big hopes for today, I want to get the Christmas decorations up, finish the laundry and look for my darn Twilight soundtrack that I have misplaced somewhere in my house! I might also try watching the KROQ acoustic Christmas concert on the computer tonight..Paramore is playing! Yeah! Hope all is well!
