Happy happy birthday!

It's pretty sad that I still get excited about my own birthday, and it's number 29 this year! Holy cow! Remember when we we all young and in Junior high and high school and how we all said we couldn't wait till we were older? And all of our parents told us to slow down and not want to get too old too fast? Well now I understand why! Regardless of that I still love my birthdays. My birthday has always been a special day for me, and I couldn't tell you why exactly....maybe it has something with being the center of attention, or maybe it is because for one day out of the whole year it's supposed to be about what I want and not having to give in or do things for other people....hmmm that still sounds like its all about me. Wow! I didn't realize I was so self centered! Oh well. It's the one day out of the year where I get to have and do what I want....within reason. Today, on my 29th birthday I got to sleep in until 9 a.m., made breakfast for myself (while my husband slept in), and eventually we will be heading down (per my request) to the San Diego Wild Animal Park! Believe it or not, I actually love going there. I love the animals and I at least get to get out of the house instead of sitting around all day and not doing anything.

On a side note, I have been feeling Dominic move around in my tummy and I am realizing how fast time is going. I am 22 weeks or 5 and 1/2 months, however you prefer to put it. My office, soon to be nursery, is not even half finished and I am panicking a little about time. All is well, it will get done in time! I am determined! That's the short one for the day...I have to go pack snacks and water and check my camera battery before we are off. Hope all is well with everyone! All my love!
